There’s a sad story behind the dress which is: The bride to be and the groom were middle age and so happy to have found one another. He came down with a terminal illness and they knew they were facing a hardship after their marriage. They were to be married last March and very suddenly, he passed away in February, 3 weeks before the wedding. The bridal shop refused to take the dress back which is quite a shame since it’s such a sad thing to have happened and it wasn’t like two young kids just “broke off their engagement”. It’s been hanging in her closet for one year and she decided to sell it now and asked me if I could help her.
