They were purchased in an antique shop on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, and said to have belonged to Sarah Berhardt at one time. I cannot substatiate this, but I have read up on it and found that the famous actress she did wear gold jewelled eyeglasses — lots of fabulous stuff.
