I have several Hermes scarves that were purchased by my father (General H. Norman Schwarzkopf) for my mother (Brenda Schwarzkopf) immediately after his return from Operation Desert Storm. He made a trip to New York for a ticker-tape parade being held in he and his troop’s honor and he visited Hermes where he purchased several of these scarves for my mom. She, unfortunately, never did start wearing scarves as well and these beautiful designs have just been hidden away.
