I broke my foot and now have pins and a plate- no more high shoes for a year, and even then….who knows.

Wonderful red children’s hankie with the pictures of Marie, Emilie, Cecile, Annette and Yvonne Dionne…The Dionne quintuplets were born during the depression on May 28, 1934. They are the worlds first known surviving quintuplets. I asked Jeeves about their history, and boy is it sad. The Canadian government took the babies away from their parents and built a hospital to take care of them and to study them. The parents finally won them back at age 9 in a law suit.

They are made by prostitutes in India, instead of selling their bodies they make these wonderful bags.

These make Shorty feel like a kid again. I used to borrow Dad’s socks when all of mine were dirty. His feet were a lot bigger, and his socks pulled way up over my knees. Of course, Shorty’s feet grew and grew, and eventually my feet were bigger than Dad’s, but now that he’s is gone, when I wear these socks I always think of him. Thanks for the memories, Dad.

This fan jacket was worn to the 2008 Coldplay concert in Dallas at the American Airlines Center. The handmade jacket was seen by back stage hands and changed nose bleed tickets to second row seats on stage floor–true story!!!

I wanted to play ball so bad that my neighbor whom was coach of a little league team took me on dispite the fact that I didn’t own a glove. I sat on the bench for every game because of it and I was heartbroken not to be able to play. I frequently came home with bruised hands from practicing without a glove and when my uncle found out that my parents could not afford a glove for me, he gave me this glove.
