Funny story behind these shoes is that a friend of mine has a relative in china that moved their in 95 and workes in the medical field. She then retired 3years ago and decided to move back to the states. Before she moved she thought she would say good by to all her friends she had made over the years. This took a good 3 to 4 days of tears and sadness, and happy good byes to her new life back in the u.s. While she was returning home one day she ran into a patient that she had helped out through out the years. The lady thanked her for all the help she gave to her and told her that she would soon be leaving her job giving up working for the shoe industry in china. The lady said “i would like to give you a few gifts to take back with you to enjoy giving to you family and friends.” She said that she would like nothing more than a thank you for the time she had helping the lady. She then told her before she leaves to meet with her one last time before she leaves. The day before our friend flies back to the u.s. she meets with the lady. The lady then comes out the door with a box about the size of a computer box and says” this is for your family and freiend. I have no one to share this with and i would like to share it with you!” Our friend said that she did not want to take the box but she felt bad for the lady she helped because she did not have any family left to pass her time with and lived alone. So she had been saving these gifts from her work to share them with someone special. She opened the box when she got back her living quarts and found many pairs of kids shoes inside the box. She thinks that over the past weeks before she puts in for her retirement that she has been getting shoes from her work. She does not know if the lady took them or purchased them from her place of work, all she knows is that the lady got these shoes for a reason and the lady wanted to give them to her as a gift. So she flew them back with her and gave the pairs of kids shoes to all friends and family that knew her and would know the history behind the shoes. …Isn’t that cool or what! So i called our friend back telling her thank you for the shoes and to tell her relative that we really appritiate the shoes from China for our 3 year old and that we would keep the story alive! She told me” YOU REALLY BELIEVED the story that my aunt was bring a big box of shoes for the kids back to the u.s. from china”.” That’s funny” she replied. “I went down to the mall and picked those shoes up for Kaylee because i thought they would look cute on her”.I told her i was gulable and i would never fall for one of her stories again. I hope you liked this story that had me going about the shoes i got directly from a china shoe plant, i thought.
